Loving People we do Not Like (The story of Jonah from a different perspective)

Presentation:

I couldn't think of a more appropriate message on Thanksgiving day since I know many family members obligatorily trudge to the In-laws house for some good food, but in some cases awkward conversation and fellowship! It isn't always easy to love people we don't like, but as Christians we aren't given a choice. No matter how much you think someone deserves your wrath, God has commanded you to be the merciful, loving, forgiving,  and winsome person to EVERYONE. We don't get to pick and choose who we love and forgive  from God's perspective. Remember that God commended his love to us in that while we were actively mistreating Him, He still died for our sins. (Rom 5:8) Feel free to download the PDF of a newspaper Steve has written based on the book of Jonah. History and research was put into creating this paper and of course you will find some "tongue in cheek" humor interweaved in each article.
