Trumpet for God Ministries

Steve is a Christian speaker and trumpet player who has a heart for ministering and teaching in churches throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina, region. He teaches a Sunday School class at the North Campus of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC. Steve spent eleven years as a Police Officer in Greensboro NC where he worked in a variety of roles. He is a graduate of Trinity College and Seminary with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling.

Steve is available for guest speaking and fill-in preaching. He and his wife, April, minister to both couples and individuals through marriage enrichment counseling, and premarital counseling.  He also counsels at Hickory Grove Baptist in Charlotte. Steve emphasizes that he was not called into Christian Counseling, but dragged kicking and screaming! "When I left police work I was determined to never go near another domestic disturbance as long as I lived." (and God laughed) Evidently though, God had different plans for Steve. Steve has a burden for showing couples how to strive for Biblical obedience in their marriages. He is attracted to hurting couples in need of hope! Steve is committed to sharing the message of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. None of us has any hope except through the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In our daily lives we can tend to get discouraged, angry, and frustrated, at the circumstances we are immersed in. We even can get lost on where we need to turn to get the right answers to life's problems. The good news is that the Bible holds all the answers we need to live, work, and exist in our crazy world. The perfect pill does not exist, but the perfect Word does. God's Word can give you the hope you seek to find the answers you need to live the way God intended you to! (Phil 4:13)
