"Love and Respect" by Emerson Eggerichs is a sound Biblical guide for both husbands and wives. Men have the biggest problem with loving while women have the biggest issue with respecting their husband. It teaches wives how to build up their husband from a Biblical perspective and shows how tearing him down can destroy the marriage. For men they are commanded to love their wives as Christ loved the church. "The Power of a Praying Husband" Stormie Omartian has done an incredible job on this book written for men. According to her the reason her husband didn't write it was because it would have been a pamphlet and not a book. She breaks down 20 categories of how we should pray for our wives. "Revolutionary Parenting" is written by George Barna and I was impressed and humbled by his research. He states in his book that less than 10% of Christian Families read the Bible and have prayer time together even once a week.
