The following is the Homecoming Sermon Preached by Dr. Robert J. Goode at Troutman Baptist Church, Troutman, North Carolina, in 1998. Pastor Goode was 66 years old and had recently retired. Pastor Paul Childers was the current Pastor at this Homecoming. The audio has a little hiss, and I was afraid to filter it too much more. My apologies to all those out there who have been waiting for some sermons from Troutman Baptist.

Steve shares a humorous story of the time his son Noah (who was 3 years old at the time) demonstrated his knowledge of Ephesians 6:1 at his daycare during a very awkward moment. It is a clip taken from a sermon in 2007 at Florida Street Baptist Church. Is it ever really too early to teach our children Biblical principles? According to Deuteronomy 6:7 we are to teach our children morning and night about Biblical principles so it is written on their hearts.
